Three Grey Women
Original release date: 2004
Three Grey Women is based on the ancient Greek myth of Perseus and Medusa.
Perseus is on a quest to find and kill the monster Medusa, a creature so hideous,
that gazing upon her face, mortals are turned to stone. Perseus must seek the
knowledge of the Grey Women to find the guidance and ability to accomplish his task.
This interpretation relates the story from the Grey Women's perspective, a perspective
governed by the sole eye shared between the three nearly blind women.
Using this characteristic of the Grey Women, this interpretation explores sight and vision and how our world is defined by what we see.
